Mattia Manucci

Description of research: I work in numerical analysis and scientific computing, with a focus on model order reduction, contour integral methods, low-rank approximations and eigenvalue problems. My research develops projection-based and contour-integral techniques for parametric systems, with particular emphasis on applying linear algebra tools for these purposes.

My work spans parametric eigenvalue problems, differential-algebraic and switched systems, and control applications. A recurring objective of my research is to combine advanced numerical methods with reliable error estimates, allowing computationally demanding problems to be solved efficiently while retaining rigorous control of the approximation error.
