Location

Please buy your train-ticket with destitation "Stuttgart Universität" to avoid extra costs. In case that is not possible you can buy a VVS's ticket with destination "Stuttgart Universität" at the ticket machines in the hall of the Main Station. For this trip (to the University campus at Vaihingen) a ticket for 2 zones is needed.

Once you got the ticket follow the sign "S" to the S-bahn platform. Take the S-Bahn line S1 (Herrenberg), S2 or S3 (both to the airport) and stop at "University" station. After leaving the train go to the stairs at your right. Once in the surface follow the signs to Allmandring 5b.

You arrive by airplane at the Stuttgart airport. To reach the university walk to the S-bahn Station located on level 1. Before entering the platform get a ticket (with destination "Stuttgart Universität" ) at the ticket machines that are located in front of the escalator. For the trip to the University campus at Vaihingen a ticket for 2 zones is needed.

Once you got the ticket take the S-Bahn line S2 or S3 (both to the main station) and stop at "University" station. After leaving the train go to the stairs at your left. Once in the surface follow the signs to Allmandring 5b.

You arrive via the A8 or A81 autobahn. Once you reach the Stuttgart interchange (»Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart«), take the exit »Stuttgart-Zentrum/S-Vaihingen« and follow the A831 / B14 as far as the exit »Universität« (university). Now you continue along Universitätstraße and Pfaffenwaldring to Allmandring.
